How Our Rodent Control Process Works
Rodent problems can vary widely from one property to another, so we begin with a detailed inspection before recommending a treatment plan.
Inspection
We inspect accessible attics, crawlspaces, sub-areas, exterior entry points, and areas showing signs of rodent activity at no additional charge. The goal is to determine where rodents are active, how they may be entering, and which conditions are allowing the problem to continue.
Active Rodent Control
Depending on the situation, we may recommend an intensive trapping program, exterior rodent control, or a combination of methods. Trapping programs typically include three service visits per week, with the total length of the program determined by the amount of activity and how quickly control is achieved. Exterior rodent-control programs use secured bait stations that are inspected and serviced approximately every 60 days as part of an ongoing maintenance program.
Exclusion & Prevention
Removing the rodents currently inside is only part of the solution. When entry points are identified, we provide an itemized exclusion estimate showing the cost of individual repairs as well as package pricing. Our goal is to help customers understand both the immediate rodent problem and the structural conditions that may allow it to return.
Rodent Exclusion & Warranty
When a structure can be effectively sealed, exclusion work can provide long-term protection by closing the openings rodents use to enter.
For qualifying slab-foundation homes with composition shingle roofs, completed rodent exclusion work includes a one-year renewable warranty. If the condition or construction of the home prevents us from effectively sealing the structure, we will identify those limitations during the inspection and explain them before any work is approved.
Rodent trapping itself does not include a warranty because new rodents can enter from surrounding properties and environmental conditions can change. Exclusion is what allows us to address the source of repeated interior activity whenever the structure is suitable for sealing.
Cleanup & Carcass Removal
Rodents caught during an active trapping program are removed as part of the service. We can also assist with locating and removing unknown carcasses when needed. Simple cleanup and sanitation may be available depending on the condition of the affected area.
